Welcome to Mental and Emotional Therapeutics
At Mental and Emotional Therapeutics, we are committed to helping you find and become the best version of yourself at whatever age or stage of life you are in. We believe that everyone is capable of finding, and worthy of having happiness. Though none of us can start over, we can begin again with a different outlook and better supports to create a different ending. Whether you are struggling through life changes, relationship issues, coping with illness whether it be mental or physical, or learning to live life after trauma or loss, let us empower you and guide you through your transformation. We use evidence-based psychotherapeutic theories combined with acceptance and encouragement to transform your struggles into success.

We Provide

Individual & Couples Counseling
We use proven psychotherapeutic theories to help gain a better understanding into the thoughts and behaviors that are getting in the way of your happiness and achieving your goals. Each client is treated as an individual and what works for one person may not work for the next. Together we will develop a plan that is right for you.

Geriatrics
Support for adults and their families living with the effects of aging or illness, grief and loss as well as caregiver burnout. Extensive experience working with aging, disabled and chronically ill clients and knowledge to help guide you through the process of care planning and navigation of Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

Convenience
Counseling provided in the comfort of your own home via telehealth with the option of periodic home visits to meet new Medicare guidelines. Unlike most telehealth providers, you will not be required to join any service, pay a monthly fee or sign any long term contracts.

About us
Creating Mental and Emotional Therapeutics has been a goal of mine for many years and I am beyond excited to finally see my dream come true. When I began the task of creating M.E.T. I thought about the populations we would serve, and I came to the decision to see only adults. Special attention given to older adults and their families due to the ever-increasing need in the area as well as my own over 20-year history of treating this group as a medical social worker and those experiencing and coping with life changes. The majority of sessions will be provided through telehealth evening and weekend hours with the possibility of periodic in-home visits depending on location and/or as necessitated by insurance.
